Rotary
Club of Royston
President: Phillip Martin
Rotary is a global network of 1.2 million neighbours, friends, leaders, and problem-solvers who come together
to make positive, lasting change in communities at home and abroad.

Our motto: Service Above Self

For more than 110 years, our guiding principles have been the foundation of our values: service, fellowship,
diversity, integrity, and leadership.

What we do

Rotary members believe that we have a shared responsibility to take action on our world’s most persistent
issues. Our 35,000+ clubs work together to:
Promote peace
Fight disease
Provide clean water, sanitation, and hygiene
Save mothers and children
Support education
Grow local economies
Solving real problems takes real
commitment and vision. For more than
110 years, Rotary members have
used their passion, energy, and
intelligence to take action on
sustainable projects. From literacy
and peace to water and health, we are
always working to better our world,
and we stay committed to the end.

Royston Rotary Club

Our Club is part of the worldwide “family” of Rotary International. As with all Rotary Clubs we elect our own
president and officers from among our active members for a one-year term. We enjoy considerable
autonomy within the framework of the standard constitution and by-laws of Rotary International. The
governing body of our club is the Club Council consisting of the current club president (who serves as
chairperson), a president-elect, club secretary, club treasurer and several other important members of the
club tasked with delivering the president’s programme for the year. The Club Council usually also includes
the immediate past president.
Individual Rotarians may attend any of the normal
meetings at any of the 33,000 different Rotary Clubs
around in the world in over 200 countries
You can also catch a flavour of what we do by

many photo galleries that are linked for this site.

some of our past events.
