Our Committee is always seeking new ways to help the local community. We have various events throughout the year which we have organised in the past and will continue to do so. Gala in the Gardens This year we organised a “Gala in the Gardens” as part of the Creative Royston Festival. This event featured performances from local musicians, dancers, gymnasts and childrens entertainers and included professional face painting for younger children - all completeley free to the public. The event was generously funded by the Creative Royston Management Committee. Memory Cafe Meeting at the Coombes Community Centre once a month for those with memory loss and their carers, this is a totally free event. Tea, coffee, biscuits are provided with something of interest to stimulate memory. More information here. Childen’s Fun Day We help organise this annual event for disadvantaged children in partnership with other Rotary Clubs. Children in Need Each year we arrange the Children in Need Collection in Royston and we will take a view if asked to provide help with other collections during the year. Royston Community Breakfast Meeting on the second Friday of the month for those involved in the local community in a professional, charitable or voluntary capacity to get together to exchange ideas and give support to one another.
